This stint in Community Housing then lead to an opportunity to move to the Cross Cultural Housing Program permanently as a Housing Manager, providing housing support to newly arrived humanitarian entrants. When the opportunity arose, Jonah accepted the Program Manager position and is now responsible for overseeing the IHSS, SHP and SGP programs that fall under the Cross Cultural Housing Services umbrella.
The experience of MATCH/4walls has allowed Jonah the opportunity to understand a diverse range of housing needs, and responses, in our community. Jonah believes that housing is a foundation of people’s lives and to be in a position to support some of the most vulnerable members of our society in achieving this solid foundation is a truly rewarding experience.
