Bendigo Bank Flood Cheque

Bendigo & Adelaide Bank’s Community Enterprise Foundation™ were pleased to partner with 4 Walls Ltd, to address immediate needs of flood affected individuals by donating $15,000 from the foundations Queensland Flood Appeal to support their ‘Emergency Accommodation’ program. As a valued member of the community and strong supporter of the bank, we applaud your work and hope that this donation can make a difference to the lives of those 4walls assist and support.

Property Management

A Strong and Growing Housing Provider 
4walls is the coming together of two large not-for-profit entities with a combined 30 years experience in the delivery of Community Housing in Queensland. The combined business of these two organisations has created a portfolio of approximately 740 tenancies and a skilled and experienced team of staff to undertake this work. The combined strength and expertise in the delivery of this business will create a company that is robust and viable with strong growth in the delivery of additional social housing and affordable housing contracts in 2009-2012 and beyond.  4 Walls Housing
 4walls is governed by a Board of skilled and experienced Directors, drawn from the business and Community Sector. The Board holds responsibility for the strategic direction and oversight of the company. The Chief Executive Officer works closely with the Board of Directors to keep the company apprised of the changing external environment and is responsible for the company achieving desired outcomes. The management team and staff share responsibility for meeting service delivery and business administration objectives.

Property Management

Responsive and Effective Service Delivery
4walls manages approximately 740 tenancies and provides a wide range of housing options, including transitional housing, long term housing, community managed studio units, traditional boarding house accommodation, youth specific housing, affordable housing and resettlement housing. In addition 4walls delivers community education and advocacy for eligible clients under the Department of Immigration and Citizenship Settlement Grants Program.  4 Walls Housing

Business development plans under 4walls include further expansion of the community managed studio units program, geographical expansion of the all forms of social housing state wide expansion of the resettlement program, joint venture partnerships on affordable housing developments and further expansion of the affordable housing program within and external to the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS).

The ongoing focus of 4walls business will concentrate on:

* Working with government on the development of government policies and programs in relation to social and affordable housing.

* Developing strategic business partnerships to ensure the growth of affordable housing contracts supplied and managed by the Company.

* Expand the delivery of the Integrated Humanitarian Settlement Strategy - IHSS.

* Continuing the focus on the supply and management of well targeted and responsive social housing outcomes to clients in the highest need.
